At SLTC, we pride ourselves on being unconventional. There’s no right order to do things in life, only what’s right for you. We’ll help you get where you want to be.

  • Center for Psycho-Education & Wellbeing is the newest initiative of SLTC promoted with the intention of contributing towards the development of Psychology and Counselling through counselling, education and consultation. Mind Heals provides comprehensive clinical and referral services to SLTC undergraduate students, graduate students and affiliated entities.
  • Our goal is to enhance the psychological well-being of our students so they can take full advantage of the educational opportunities at the University.
  • Mind Heals is staffed by licensed mental health professionals. We provide individual and group counselling, crisis intervention, mindfulness intervention, anger management, and other services. We strive to provide services that are nonjudgmental and confidential and hope that all students feel safe in sharing their concerns.
  • Appointments are encouraged, but emergency services are also available. There are no additional fees for SLTC students to make use of counselling services or programs.

Counselling Programs

Appointments are recommended, but crisis counseling is available during regular working hours. After hours, you may reach us through the mobile number or email provided.

Group Counseling

Group counseling offers students the opportunity to learn from one another as well as from the group leader. For more information, please contact the Counseling Center regarding the types of groups offered (e.g., process, support, or psycho-educational programs).
